Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) is a multisystem disorder characterised by dysregulation of endocrine, metabolic, immune and ovarian function, in which ovarian features such as hyperandrogenism, ovulatory dysfunction and polycystic ovarian morphology arise as downstream consequences of broader systemic disturbances.
